Surgery service

Surgery Service is an IPD (In Patient Department) service designed for caring patients with General surgery, Orthopaedic surgery and Minor surgery problems. Hospitalized patients are vised daily by specialists doctors or medical doctors accompanied by nurses who provide care as recommended by doctors. Doctors in ward round evaluate patient’s evolution by analysing results from laboratory, radiology or recommend treatment changes for curative cares. There is a separated hospitalization for women and men at Kabgayi H.

Jean Bosco NSHIMIYIMANA is a nurse holding bachelor's degree from UR-College of Medicine and Health Sciences with more than 8 years of clinical experience where he worked in emergency and Accident department for more than 5years and Operating theater 1year. Now he is Matron of surgical department in KABGAYI LEVEL 2 TEACHING HOSPITAL.
