Internal medicine Service is an IPD (In Patient Department) service designed for caring patients above 15 years old with acute pathologies or chronic diseases. Hospitalized patients are vised daily by specialists doctors or medical doctors accompanied by nurses who provide care as recommended by doctors. Doctors in ward round evaluate patient’s evolution by analysing results from laboratory or recommend treatment changes for curative cares. There are a separated ward for women and men at Kabgayi H.
